Ownership and copyright reporting information.

This page explains ownership of content on Music Coast and how to report copyright concerns.

1. Site Content (Owned by Music Co LLC)

Unless otherwise stated, Music Co LLC owns or licenses the website and app design, text, articles, graphics, logos, code, and other materials we create ("Site Content"). You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Site Content without our written permission, except where allowed by law.

2. User Content (Owned by Creators/Rightsholders)

Music, audio recordings, artwork, and other materials uploaded by artists, labels, or users ("User Content") are owned by their respective rightsholders. Music Coast does not claim ownership of User Content.

3. Trademarks

Music Coast and related marks are trademarks of Music Co LLC. Other trademarks may belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (for example, a link);
  • your contact information (address, phone, and email);
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.

We may forward your notice to the user who uploaded the material, as permitted or required by law.

5. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice. A counter-notice should include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the material removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, address, and telephone number;
  • a statement consenting to jurisdiction in the appropriate federal district court (or if outside the U.S., in an appropriate U.S. judicial district), and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.

6. Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we may disable or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

7. Misrepresentations

Please do not submit false or misleading notices or counter-notices. Misuse of the DMCA process may result in liability.
