This Creator Monetization and Earnings Disclaimer applies to any program where Music Coast pays creators or labels based on plays, advertising revenue, subscriptions, or other engagement metrics (the "Monetization Program").
1. No Guaranteed Earnings
Earnings are not guaranteed. Your results will depend on many factors, including listener demand, geographic availability, advertising fill, subscription revenue, and compliance with our policies.
2. Eligibility and Enrollment
Participation may require you to create an account, accept additional program terms, and provide payout details. We may limit eligibility by region, account standing, content type, and other factors.
3. Plays, Metrics, and Invalid Activity
We use internal measurement systems to count plays and engagement. We may exclude plays that we believe are invalid, artificial, fraudulent, incentivized, or generated by automation.
We may delay reporting or payouts to investigate unusual activity. If we determine that plays were generated through prohibited methods, we may withhold related earnings, remove content, or terminate accounts.
4. Revenue Sources
Creator payouts may be funded by advertising revenue (including Google advertising products), subscription revenue, sponsorships, or other sources. Advertising rates and availability fluctuate and are outside our control.
5. Payouts, Thresholds, and Fees
We may set minimum payout thresholds and payout schedules (for example, monthly). We may deduct processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and amounts owed due to policy violations or disputes, where permitted.
6. Taxes
You are responsible for all taxes related to payments you receive. We may be required to collect tax forms or documentation (for example, W-9/W-8 forms in the United States) and to issue tax reporting documents where required by law.
7. Changes and Termination
We may change, suspend, or end the Monetization Program at any time. We may also suspend or terminate your participation if you violate our Terms, upload infringing content, or engage in prohibited conduct.
