Official Music Coast Interview #2 with Ms. Vee: Empowerment, Musical Journey & Creative Vibes

Ms. Vee, a dynamic musician and singer from Forrest City, Arkansas, began her musical journey at the age of 10 as a piano student at Lorenzo's School of Contemporary Music. Under the guidance of Lorenzo and Jackie Toney Smith, she quickly demonstrated her exceptional ear for music and joined their blues/jazz band. This early exposure laid the foundation for her career in music, where she has become known for her powerful vocals and soulful performances. Ms. Vee leads "Ms. Vee & a Badass Band," a group that has been shaking up the Pacific Northwest music scene. The band, which includes accomplished Portland-area musicians like Jake Koprowski (Music Director/Bass), Chance Hayden (Lead Guitar), Ron Solomon (Keyboard/Organ), and Terrell Reed (Drums), delivers high-energy performances that blend blues, jazz, and soul. A two-time semifinalist in the International Blues Challenge and a Best Female Vocalist nominee, Ms. Vee has earned recognition for her captivating stage presence and heartfelt music. She has shared the stage with various renowned artists and continues to impress audiences with her soulful voice and dynamic performances.
